Metalhead at Heart...

Here we are on a Friday night at 9pm and I'm still frellin' around on the internet. Isn't that the life of a diehard geek? What's even worse is the fact that I have absolutley nothing to really blog about tonight. I'm just bored and in some need of desperate attention.

I guess I can mention the fact that I'm toying with the idea of going to see old favorites Judas Priest, with special guests Anthrax, at the arena in early October. Haven't seen Priest since they hit Alpine Valley on their "Ram it Down" tour back in the early 90's. It's a little on the pricey side at $40 to $70 a ticket. But I may just fall for it since I'm going through a slight mid-life crisiss and need the nostalgia to get me through.

Ummmm.... what else?

Oh... Ozzy announced that this was his last, full time Ozzfest this year. He may pop in and do a special cameo from time to time in the future years, but evidently you won't see him fronting Sabbath or his own solo band anymore. Admittedly, I've never been to Ozzfest, but I'd think that people who have would tell you that Ozzfest without Ozzy Osbourne would be like a Swiss cheese sanwhich without the Swiss cheese. Why bother? Perhaps he could MC the show and introduce all the bands or be at a booth and sign autographs or dress up like a clown and walk around and urinate on peoples' feet like my creepy uncle slappy used to do at family reunions.

That's really all there is for now. Hope I didn't take away too much of your time on this blog. ( PS. I actually have no creppy Uncle Slappy and there was never any urinating on peoples' feet at family reunions. I made that up for the attention. God... I need a girlfriend.)
