That pumpkin carving party I attended Sunday night went fine even though there was a constant, cold and chilly rain that evening. We still managed to carve up quite a small colection of orange colored characters. Someone even gave one of their pumpkins a carved mullet, official hair style of all NASCAR fans worldwide.
I'm also almost done with both the books I've been reading for the last six months, so expect a review on both of them soon!
I know this has been a quicky blog. So as not to leave you utterly disapointed, here's another edition of.....
ZANGZ'S BLOG OF GEEKDOM'S WEBSITE OF THE MOMENT:
This website is not only spooky fun, it's also informational. Here you can find out anything you'd want to know about the local horror flick movie hosts from both the past and present. The one I remember watching as a kid was Shock Theater's TooLoose NoNeck who came on every Saturday afternoon (when there was no sports on) right after Saturday morning cartoons. He would show old black and white horror movies that were mostly Japanese Godzilla flicks and other movies that had giant monsters in them. At least those are the ones I remember him showing. Now we have Dr. Destruction's Crimson Theater on access cable. The Doctor knows his stuff and it's obvious he's a big fan of classic horror movies.
That's all for today. If you haven't yet, make sure you do something to celebrate the holiday. Even if it's just carving a Jack-O-Lantern and putting it in your window.
Talk to you all before the holiday is over.
Zangz.
